I mean, most graveyards in louisiana are practically parks anyway. ground's too wet, so we got mausoleums and above ground graves, y'know. we ain't got a lot of money, so they don't got the most impressive resting places or anything, but we keep them well and bring flowers outside of all souls day, too.

[While the details aren't ignored, there isn't a response to that. He hasn't visited his family's graves. Hasn't had the strength to stand over their resting places and let them see the man he's become now. So the idea of Sam actually wanting to take him to visit his parents (and aunt's) graves- It's more than he knows what to do with.

Which is why his response takes even longer this time. Why, if it wasn't for the understanding the two of them developed over the past few months, he'd be prepared to ghost Sam all over again. Sam has given him so much, and yet here Bucky is, trying to wipe himself out of their shared history.]

[ Sam doesn't know Bucky's thought process exactly, but he can hazard a few guesses given the man's general perspective on himself. So he waits patiently for Bucky to process. ]

[ over the next hour or two, every 10 minutes on the dot, Bucky receives pictures of Redwing as taking somewhere on the station, posed as if the drone is doing human activities. sunbathing, cooking, training... the last few pictures are all of Redwing hovering over Bucky's bed, a little lower with each subsequent picture. ]
